With Halloween finally here, we’re curious about how you’ll celebrate: hosting parties, attending them, dressing up, or simply answering the door and handing out handfuls of candy to pint-sized ghosts and goblins. This year Halloween feels especially vivid—maybe because it highlights the before-and-after transformation of a home (we gave our porch and our living room a little spooky update), and because costumes bring a noticeable change in people’s appearances.
Tell us who or what you’ll be this year. Are there any Jon & Kate Plus 8 group costumes? Maybe a take on the cute kids from the movie Juno? Share the parties you plan to host or attend, and most importantly, what your kids—whether two-legged or four-legged—will wear. We had many requests for photos of Burger in his costume, so without further ado, here he is: Hamburger the hot dog.

We picked up this little outfit for about $9.99 at Target. It turned out to be a hit—two out of three Petersiks were very excited about the purchase.

If Burger had his preference, he’d wear the costume like this…

Whether you’re crafting elaborate decorations, planning a themed party, or keeping things low-key with a bowl of candy on the porch, we want to hear about your Halloween plans. Costume ideas, party themes, and photos of creative outfits (especially pet costumes) are all welcome. Happy Halloween—and may your night be full of fun, fright, and plenty of treats.
